Track&Trace

A necessity for industry 4.0 is tracking and tracing every work piece, tool, vehicle and products. Every trackable object gets an unique identifier in any form, like a QR Code, RFID Code or EAN Code. With that a system either on edge or on cloud can track, trace and save their positions and actions. Now you can see what and where a machine does something or which batch of materials is in which manufacturing process.

In Addition, you can add any data to these tracked objects. For example, the quality rating of a material or dimensions.

All this makes everything more efficient like recall actions for only a few batches because you know exactly which batches of materials went into which batches of products or problem identification because you know exactly where a problem occured, even if it is an undescript problem of a material or machine.
